Yes, you read it right...Maggie pulled her own tooth!! She was eating her favorite meal (poppyseed chicken) at Granny's when she suddenly started crying and then screaming as everyone teased her about pulling her tooth. She had chomped down on her somewhat, but not ready to fall out, loose tooth with her fork. OUCH!! She kept crying and saying it felt like it was going to fall out in the back and after a little playing with it, she was left holding it in her hand!! She did it, all by herself!! She was so proud!! She grabbed a wet wash cloth, soaked up the blood, and went back to playing outside. It did manage to get her out of cleaning her plate!!
Both girls chose to spend the night with Granny because today is her first day off in eight days.. Maggie called me at 9:00, waking me from a sound sleep to tell me that the tooth fairy had left her five dollar bills!! Welcome to inflation!!
