Our weekend went great!! Everyone showed up for some swimming and pizza at 4:30ish and we played hard until about 7:00. Everyone needed time to get cleaned up for fireworks. Maggie rode home with the McCay's because her and Maddie are inseperable these days. We met them at Two Rivers to hang out and watch fireworks. The kids got their pictures made with Elmo, Dora and Mickey Mouse. That was a $3000 savings :-)!! This was Molly's first experience at fireworks and she was so proud of herself when she built up the nerve to sit without my hands over her ears. One set of fireworks must have tipped over and they shot right at us leaving half of us running and Logan with a great photograph. It knocked outa window in the truck parked behind us. Maggie went home to spend the night with the McCay's and Molly complained all the way home that she is big enough to go, too. When we got home, all of the neighbors were standing in the driveway talking, so we joined in and didn't go inside until midnight. Molly was exhausted.

My dear sweet Pep Mom friends gave me a gift certificate to Ann Taylor Loft for being the group leader. They are the best!!
Saturday was spent being a slug.... We didn't do much of anything all day. Daddy got a little yard work done, but other then that not much got accomplished. Ipicked Maggie and Maddie up around 4:00 and we took them to see Kit Kitteridge, the new American Girl movie. It was really sweet and brought tears to my eyes at the end.
Sunday was the usual nursery ritual followed by lunch at Ott's. Mike hasn't eaten there since it reopened, so he was excited to see if the recipe was still as yummy as he remembered it and he says that it was!! It wasn't my favorite, but that's okay.. The rest of the day was spent by the pool. Erica and Brandon came over to swim and we had a lot to catch up on. We cleaned up and then went over to Granny's to visit with Uncle Bobby for a little while.
