Playdate with Annabella

What a fun week we have had so far and the best part is that we only have one more morning to get up so early and then we get a week off - Maggie's first Spring Break!! Today was especially fun for Maggie because Annabella got to come home with her from school. She is one of the little girls Maggie went to school with on her staggered days at the beginning of the year and they have really hit it off!! The girls wanted Hailee to come and join them at the playground and the three of them really played well together. Maggie enjoyed serving them some chocolate milk in her tea set (without Mommy knowing). She also managed to bust an Easter Egg and I found the shell in the kitchen and the egg in my bathroom..

Tuesday the girls went to Cacki's after school and they got to color Easter Eggs. That was a first for Molly and she loved it. Cacki said she was totally intrigued by the eggs turning colors. We forget how much we explained to Maggie and expect Molly to just know. Of course she is very quick to figure it out on her own. Luckily the weather was really pretty and they got to do it outside. Less of a mess for Cacki. Plus Jackson (the neighbor's dog) got to help. That was also the first visit that Maggie really warmed up to Jackson. She has been scrared of him for a while.

Wednesday was another beautiful day. We played on the playground with Erica & Kelly's kids and the boys enjoyed torturing the girls. I enjoyed having lunch with Maggie. She always gets a little anxious when it is time for me to leave, but she did okay. Mrs. Stouder told me to keep coming because there would be a day when Maggie won't want me to come :-( .. I am not prepared for those days. I want to be as involved with her school years as she will let me!! Cacki met us at gymnastics which was an hour early this week because her normal teacher had a hurt ankle. She said it was too easy. There were more kids in that class and it did seem like easy stuff. I think she got mixed in with the wrong age group. Maggie was proud to have her Cacki there to watch her though.. Molly stayed with Granny and Papaw during gymnastics and she was about to settle with Granny taking her out to jump when Papaw walked in from his bike ride. He didn't even make it through the door before Molly looked at him with one finger to her chin and said "Papaw Jump?".. So long Granny!!
