A Sad Day for Maggie

I knew the day would come....I just wasn't sure when and I wasn't sure how Maggie would take it. Maggie has been outgrown!! She is old enough to not fit in anymore. There's new friends, boyfriends, headphones, text messages.....Maggie still likes her stuffed animals, Pooh Bear and a phone conversation is very awkward. She is sad.. She doesn't understand.. She misses the days of old. She asks why and as a mom I can't really answer the question. I want to tell her that it will all be the same again one day, but the truth is, it probably never will. She will adjust, but for now she will settle for a game of Operation with her Daddy!! Daddy will never outgrown her!!
