Christmas is quickly approaching and the excitement is starting to build around this house. The girls have 1 1/2 days of school and then they are out until the 6th!! I am happy to say that this holiday season has not been nearly as stressful as last year! I think pulling the girls out of all activities (except piano and mathnasium) was the smartest thing we could have done. We have not had an excessive amount of running here and there and we have been able to enjoy more time at home as a family and being able to visit with grandparents!!
Molly had her Christmas party on Friday, but I managed to overlook the paper and missed it :-(. She was perfectly okay with me not being there and even went as far as to reassure me there would be an Easter party for me to attend! That is until today when she saw me making muffins for Maggie's party tomorrow and she said, "oh, so you are going to Maggie's party!" - little devil!
Max, the elf on the shelf, has kept them guessing each morning! He has been in almost every room upstairs! He even made the mistake of sitting in a light fixture and burning a hole in his head - ooops!
The Holmes' family will most likely be staying with us for Christmas since Cacki is still out of commission. I am so sad that she has had to endure this pain for so long. The girls are more than thrilled that everyone will be staying out our house!
