Trunk or Treat begins at 6:00 and at 5:20 the UPS driver still had not made a stop at our house. Inside of his truck contained a box with my name on it that had a pink ninja costume that belonged to a very special nine year old. About 5:40, the sound of a loud brown trunk rumbled past our house and I went running after
him to discover he was turning around and stopping at our neighbors house first. We quickly got Maggie dressed (thank heavens it fit) and were ready to run out the door when Daddy got home. We met the Cole's and Collins' at Two Rivers for a cold night of Halloween fun.
Halloween: Take 2 - Saturday, October 30, 2010
We started the day off early with Disney Princesses on Ice with lots of family and friends. It was a great show and even Maggie loved it. I was afraid she would feel too old for it! Then we rushed around getting ready for the Halloween Party at Jerry & Jenny's house. Mike and I dressed up as none other than......Jerry & Jenny!! The party was loads of fun and the kids danced to Just Dance 2 on the Wii until midnight! Getting them to bed was a breeze. They were exhausted.
Halloween : Take 3 - Sunday, October 31, 2010
We slept until almost 9:00 trying to recover from the night before! We had a slow and leisurely morning. We decided to attempt our first Geocache, but after two failed attempts, we decided to give up for today. The girls had fun and I think once we find one they will be hooked and want to find more. We had dinner with my family at 5:00 and then took the kids trick-or-treating.. Molly wore a different costume three days in a row! Tonight she was Tigger and she declared herself one tired Tigger. She was sleepy and ready to go home.
